1 year isn't enough to know what his lifestyle is, and how it will be if you stay with him. Consider this relationship before you move along, get into any serious situations which will make it harder for you and him. I hear a lot of unfortunate stories about couples quickly getting tied up with marriage and children and the other person suddenly changes and turns on them.
