A few days ago i received health insurance-not the type you can walk into pharmacy with prescription-have to see a dr at a place that has own pjarmacy. i work part time and job doesnt offer insurance. I am having a really bad time w/o meds. I have never been hospitalized for bipolar even though a few times last few months i thought i might have to check in somewere (very bad depression). Has anyone been through a partial hospitalization program-i am trying to find the quickest way to get back on my medications again. Thanks

It sounds like an easy case - your three medications were working for you and you just need to go back on them. A partial hospitalization seems to be an overkill for your situation. You do not need all that intensive therapy that is always part of partial hospitalization. You need to go to that doctor who is connected with the pharmacy approved by your insurance and ask him or her to be put back on your meds; they probably won't be able to put you back on the same dosages right away, but they will prepare a plan for you for how to titrate up.
