(((((((((((((MP & Abby)))))))))))))))))))),

I know it has to be hard going through the knowledge of what the end results may be. As a parent, when our children hurt, so do we. I am sure your daughter is so young that I am sure she will adapt very well the the situation she is in (being older, it seems all the harder to us). It is amazing how easily children actually deal with the reality of their lives.

It sounds like you have a good Dr for her.....I don't know if you have had any second opinions or not, but it sounds like this Dr knows what he is talking about. It seems like going to a school for the blind at this point is a good time to get her to learn what she will need to know as her vision gets worse.

I would think that the hardest part for you would be the pain that she is feeling. I would hope that there is something that can be done for her to relieve the pain that she is feeling.

I think what Zanne said is very good to realize.....God isn't the one doing this, but he is holding your hand & helping you realize the direction to go in during this rough time. The one thing we don't know at this time, but who knows what the future holds for Abby. Who knows, but with this happening, there may be something wonderful that will happen in her future that might not if this wasn't part of her future. We never know what good the future holds even though it looks real dark at the moment.

My prayers are with you & Abby,
Debbie
