My doctor once threatened to put me on weekly scripts, but didn't follow through with it. I was on weekly scripts for a little while from a psychiatrist - but that was because it was hospital policy not to prescribe more than 7 days at a time. I guess they have to be careful if you've admitted to a plan or have overdosed, but it's so inconvenient.
