I really can relate to the need to sleep. Every waking moment I think of sleep. It's my escape from reality. I do take sleep aids and refuse to stop taking them - I live for the time of day when I can take them and go to sleep and be away from the world.
I will share something my tdoc told me several years ago when I was extremely depressed. He told me to do something for 5 minutes. Then if I'm okay - do it for 5 more minutes. If I just can't, I need to be satisfied that I made it 5 minutes. Maybe this idea won't be helpful for you. Just an idea.
