In my opinion, what he is doing to you is emotional abuse. He is attempting to control your actions and beliefs by threatening you with losing him if you do not comply with his wishes. The way it sounds, he thinks that there is always something wrong with you or the other person, but never him. That's not right. It is not right that he boast about what he did with other girls in order to make you feel bad. I have been in an abusive relationship, and that's how it started. You might feel compelled to take part of the blame (most abuse victims do) but please know that you didn't do anything to cause his actions. Only he can control his actions.
