If you had a dream of college, then dream of going to college from that group home. I work in a small college, and we have students there who live in group homes and attend part time. One just got a part time job in the book store on campus for the Winter Term & will continue with her part time courses.
With all the community colleges around now and financial help available, find the nearest school to you home after you settle in and check things out.
It doesn't have to be
only a dream, JelcenT. I see kids in group homes doing it. One of these days one of them will graduate, too, even if it takes them longer. Perseverance ... or in other words, stubborn. So what else you going to do at that group home?
