respect hands down.

life isn't a popularity contest and being liked doesn't really matter much if there isn't any respect behind it.

life is too short to worry about who thinks what about us. when we respect ourselves we tend to not care so much about what others think as we're not living our lives to please them or to cater to their needs.

whether or not folks like us is none of our biz.............someone on here used to say "your opinions of me are none of my business" and we take those words to heart!
