Any specialist visit is $80. Any non-specialist is $40.

Several months ago, I got a letter from my insurance company saying that they were redefining what was considered a specialist. Psychologists were going from being considered specialists to being considered primary care. Is there any chance your insurance did this too? Worth looking into. Fingers crossed for you!
