After reading several posts in this section, I can see that I am not DID.

My doctor did Dx me with DDNOS. After reading a lot about that condition, I can see how I've had that as long as I can remember. I strongly recall moments where I was lying on a sofa (in a garage??) with a man as a very young girl, watching myself down below. Entering a hallway at night, to see the end of the hallway stretched out completely and it freaked me out!! I avoided going out of my room at night because I was so afraid of that always happening. Another symptom is often seeing and hearing myself speak and move ~ but it feels completely foreign to me. As though I am not actually participating. Other people look farther away still. Very strange and uncomfortable!

Where on Earth does this belong?

I do have temporal lobe epilepsy, but doctors have also done a lot of detailed testing with wires attached to my brain when these events occurred. No abnormal brain activity came up during some of the times ~ other times, it did! My pDoc does have extensive knowledge of the brain, so I don't doubt his Dx. I just don't know who can relate to issues like these.

Any tips to help guide me, please? Thank you for reading....
