She's constantly afraid of forgetting a supply item or a piece of homework because she's terrified that she's going to get yelled at by this teacher.
I emailed the teacher and copied the guidance counselor immediately and am setting up a meeting.....Last night, I broke down in tears over it....I HATE the idea of my baby girl being afraid in school. HATE IT. After the kind of upbringing I had, I only want her to have love, nurturing and acceptance...NOT intimidation and screaming.
The way the school works, my daughter wouldn't be able to get another teacher unless she changes "houses" which would mean all new teachers...so I really hope this woman will work with me on this issue. I really just want to rip her a new one with my HIB handbook.....

Oh MUE -I hope you get it worked out with the teacher. It's NOT okay for a teacher to yell all the time at their students. I would wanna punch that person. Ugh. Let us know how it goes.
