I seriously much have asked five different times in five different ways if he was sick of me or going to leave me. Then I was angry at myself for being a total four year old about the whole thing. I said I was his 'remedial client' but he assured me I am not. I wanted to ask him who was, but I know he wouldn't answer that anyway.

Oh noes! I hope I was not one of those people. Trust me, if anything like what's happening between my T and me starts happening to you, you will see it coming a million miles away. I also sincerely believe that many problems with therapy in this world could be solved by less Freud. Sorry Sigmund, you got things off to a really good start but boy do your issues come screaming through your psychoanalytic theories. Anyway your T doesn't sound very Freudian.
Also... harming his children... that's... weird. But it means you're set
I don't think you're really being a four year old. Just turn on the radio and listen to all the adults singing their tales of woe after being left/leaving someone they shouldn't have left/leaving someone they should have left along time ago/fearing someone is going to leave/leaving before someone else can leave them.
I also like to point out occasionally to anyone who will listen that a lot of the songs about "Damn, I shouldn't have left you and now you're with someone who makes you happy," are sung by men, while the "Jerk, I can't believe you left me but I'll make it on my own" songs are sung by women.
