I know I must sound totally insane and probably in need of a hospital stay. All this is going on plus occasional hallucinations despite being on Seroquel. The visual ones had been pretty benign but my last one was a headless black woman in a white dress. I now have times of being convinced I'm going to see something terrifying if I look out a window or go into a dark room at night. I feel like a five year old. I'm just worried these are signs of full blown psychosis or something like schizophrenia.

I get really paranoid that people are trying to do things that hurt me, people doing things on purpose, my friends are not my real friends, and so on. And yeah, I have that person I talk to in my head, the other me, who helps me make decisions, etc.
I have auditory and visual hallucinations off and on. They are usually not a big deal and I don't have many in succession. I've had one huge bout of psychosis when I was younger. I often wonder, if I'd actually been in treatment then, i might have gotten the schizophrenia diagnosis because that delusion lasted about five years.... but since it is past, it's just "noted" in my history as something that happened and can't be used to diagnose. (It happened over five years ago now...)
I think psychosis is a positive symptom of schizophrenia (not positive good but positive as in notable?) anyway there are also negative symptoms which are the disruptions in cognition or whatever. I would research it if I were you.
