He has to want to stop cheating and be with you because its what HE wants. And from the looks of things, he simply isn't interested in respecting you or your feelings. I urge you once more to go and find someone worthy or your time and effort - if this person cannot treat you the way you deserve to be treated then liking him more than anyone else in the world won't make the tiniest bit of difference.
