I hate anxiety, too. Mine gets so bad I make myself physically ill... not as much as I used to. As a kid I would just get sick. I've learned a lot of coping skills, but I still freeze up and get stuck a lot.
I hope today is better. You're right, it will pass. One of my best coping skills for anxiety is a mantra (sort of) "in six months this won't matter." I know, kind of silly, but it can help if I feel overwhelmed by something so small. And it reminds me that things change.
