My late husband was possibly schizoid. He had a lot of good qualities like those described in the article, too.
I think the current view of what healthy relationships are "supposed" to be like is. . . well, for me, not comfortable. Why not just each individual be direct and speak up for their point of view instead of expecting other people to have "empathy" for them. Who has empathy for what it's like to be Aspie? Or avoidant? Or even BPD or NPD?
