The pain from my chest injury is worse. I have been so very hot with the brace on and yesterday the brace started cutting into my upper chest.

Today I tried to go without the brace for a while and oh, it hurts. I will see a rhuematologist at the end of the month. It is possible he will try some injections in the sternum. If not, my family Dr and surgeon are trying to help me. The family Dr says she will give me anti inflammatory meds to help with the swelling and pain, but it's not a solution. It's a treatment instead.

I feel so ugly in this thing. I have no figure with it and I can't wear anything that fits. It's getting to me right now and I can't let it do that.

Of course the person who did this to me is perfectly healthy and fine. I try to have a positive attitude, but I'm really having a hard time with it. He should have to wear this thing, not me.
