Hello & Welcome, Mama Char-Lee!

I experience something roughly similar. My doctors have never put a name to it. What's clear is that once "it" appears, it's already too late to do much other than ride it out. My best weapons against "it" are mood-stabilizers (not anti-depressants) and social withdrawal.

Now, as tempting as it is to understand what's going on with you under the psychological umbrella, get as full a medical work-up as possible. One or more medical conditions may be accompanying or hiding behind these upheavals.

I quit the zoloft cold turkey (like a ninny) and dealt with 6 months of brain-zaps.
Make sure the doctor knows your history and the full range of your current symptoms. As you know, Zoloft isn't the only antidepressant out there.

Please keep posting.
