Hi Pat,
Isn't it illegal to be shooting anything towards another persons house? For something like that I'd have to call the police. You and/or your pets could seriously be injured. I know you don't want to start trouble but shooting off anything with a gun towards somebody's house just isnt' right and it's very dangerous.
Especially if they're drunk.
Please call the police if they decide to have aiming practice in the direction of your home again.
