Facebook freaked me out as well. I got on originally because info about my high school reunion was on there. I connected with lots of high school folks when I really didn't want to. Rumor had gotten out about my past breakdowns - I felt like a walking scientific experiment at the reunion.

I got tired of seeing all the happy smiles, cute kids, kitten pictures, quotes about things most people really have no idea about.

Let's see, I've had bipolar all my life and it's robbed me of a lot of happiness. Now there's a cheery post for my facebook "friends."
