thanks kris I like what you said, no worrying about second guessing ok!
i usually keep them from swarming me by avoidence... if i see a bunch heading down the block i go the other way or try to stay on the other side of the street. most kids think it is cool and want a ride but there are a few hecklers as well (yesterday was the first time someone yelled at me "hey what is that, a lawnmower?!"
i'd like to get back to showing it to people but i'm not ready for that yet. when i went for training before i got mine the training was not only about how to ride it safely but also how to demo it to other people. the trainers stressed that we should not feel obligated to show it to others, but if we
do they want us to show it off the right way. i was one of the first group to have one and they told us they wanted us to be "ambassedors" to the public with them. Most owners give tons of demos, some keep a written log of all the demos they have given.
