We actually first started communicating by using auto handwriting.
We are technically right handed (actually was left handed born but taught right), so we would hold a crayon or marker in the left hand and started asking who was there. I would feel it inside me like emotions. Sometimes the marker just made marks or would get mad and such. But after a while, I was able to start talking to the alters that way. That opened the door.
