sounds like you have a thyroid problem to me. and i'd try to get another opinion......i had a doctor pat me on the head and tell me that the bleeding from my cervix was just depression......well, my tubes had prolapsed into my vagina and i was in a horrible mess. i had to go to a medical school doctor to get taken care of. so, i know that "depression" is a big cop-out for doctors.

he wouldn't know if you are in peri-menopause without signifcant symptoms or if he took a blood test.

i'm sorry that you've had so much to deal with. that certainly has you stressed out......but tender thyroid glands should be checked thoroughly......please take care of yourself.....love, pat
