Jessie,

Don't believe what the therapists say. With the right therapy, BPD is definitely manageable. There are no guarantees that you won't have flare-ups on occasion, but for the most part, it is manageable. A lot of therapists give a really bad name to BPD and make us look like we are completely bonkers and have no hope for help. This is not true. If you have a therapist who is making you feel like this, it is time to get a new one!
