Oh Lord, I know how hard it is. This economy sucks and there's no relief for anyone!
Have you talked to your doctor about the fact that the meds don't seem to be doing the job? All you might need is a raise in dosage. That might be the problem. After we're on a medication for awhile, we kinda get almost "immune" to it and we have to have a higher dosage or else be switched to something else. This has happened to me sevral times. i've been on an antidepressant for probably 40 years. So believe me, I know how it feels when it quits working like it should.
Talk to your doctor. See what he can do about it. As far as the job goes, talk to your boss. See if he knows of someone who is hiring right now. He MIGHT know of someone who needs some help! You'd be smart to talk to him before anyone else does. Get an "in" on any jobs before someone else thinks about it.
