After a long time looking and submitting CVs I finally got called to an interview 2 weeks ago at local fast food restaurant.
I did it, felt ok and then waited a week to be told they wanted me back for a second interview, in this I had to answer a few more questions and then walk around the restaurant for about 5 minutes asking customers did they need anything, napkins, ketchup etc, this was to see how I interacted with people... which was kinda weird because I didn't have a uniform and people looked at me strange because of this... wasn't feeling so hot after it, but after a few days wait I was told I got the job!
I start in about a week and a half and am happy as hell, I need a job and some extra money with christmas approaching is a good thing.
I'm not a huge fan of fast food, but I put that aside because you gotta be happy with what you get these days. It is also only part time, but part time money is better than full time nothing!
Overall a happy camper though.
