I'm not a parent either and I agree that kissing at 10 is fairly young, however, it depends on the type of kiss. I'm guessing it was a peck on the cheek, in which case no problem unless it becomes more serious. On the other hand, if your son was making out with another student, then it's time to pull him back as that's completely inappropriate.
