I just think it's sad that some many animals get passed over because they're not 'perfect'. I think a lot of the 'imperfect' ones have the best personalities. Like I've had horses that people were ready to take to the slaughter house because they weren't handle-able and thought to be dangerous, but a lot of animals like that just have had bad owners. They take a little longer to get to trust you and want a bond, but once they do, they connect on a level no other animal could.
