Congratulations on knowing what the right thing to do is!

I was in the same situation, and I went about everything the wrong way. Instead of gaining my weight back the right way I just drank...a lot...and ate...a lot without ever gaining respect for the nourishment it provided me with.

It can be overwhelming at first, but don't be discouraged! You'll look back one day and see all the small steps that you've made and see one HUGE accomplishment. We're here to help.

ALSO, don't forget to congratulate yourself when you feel you've done something right. I have found many times I feel like I've done something really terrific in recovery but only wait until somebody else give me kudos. When it doesn't happen it makes me feel like perhaps I didn't do well enough, or it wasn't as good as I thought it was. In all reality, the only person that knows how to give you compliments or rewards as to how hard you've tried and how well you've done is yourself.

:-)
Thanks for this!
