If you move to another house, you have to consider the fact the person(s) you're with may also make you uncomfortable, similar to your father. I'm not sure which part of Quebec you're in, however, unless living with your father is absolutely unbearable, then I'd say stay where you are for now. If you currently have or are about to soon have classes, then moving will be a major distraction you don't need. If you don't have classes until a couple of months, then it would be worthwhile into looking around for another place. I'm not sure what the cost of student housing is in Quebec but you should look around to see if you can afford a place, even if you split the cost with roommates.
