Yes, in 2010 I unfortunately had to close my account due to a real life friend snooping on me here. It was an unfortunate situation that originated outside of Psychcentral - and frankly was a bit of a wake up call for me as to some of the people I was calling friends in real life. So I closed my old account and started fresh to keep my privacy.

Thankfully, those people are not in my life anymore - and I can say that the friends I have now are much better friends
