ok...here's an oxymoron: love band/hate math.
Reading music IS math.

This girl that was always better than I throughout grammar and high school got into MIT. I was BS. Big time. I just know it was the essay. I sucked at grammar (still do). I only took the SAT's in high school, I scored a 1575 (in 1983 perfect score was 1600). If I scored the coveted 1580 I would have gotten Striver points. Of course the other girl did the 1580 plus. Grrr. They don't do striver points anymore (something about racism)
