Nope sounds totally sane to me. When a person is raised with nobody to trust or lean on and then they find somebody they can trust it is very hard to have them unavailible for a long period of time.

Even though your rational parts say t will be back and vacations are good things the rest is hurting.

Perhaps you can reach out a bit here and get some support to take some of the fear and lonliness away.
