Speaking for myself, this is worse as a thread-starter than as a participant.
I try to rationalise in two ways:
1. I am rather different from the average poster (whoever that may be!) and maybe people just don't understand.
2. I express myself with such brilliant clarity that there really is nothing else to add. Unless people disagree, which I generally take as criticism.
The reponse I most want is:
FANTASY DIALOG
