There is a recall of batteries placed in DELL laptops... a rash of exploding, burning batteries... causing major damage has been happening.

Dell says STOP using the batteries NOW.

What I haven't heard Dell say though, is these batteries are made by SONY???? IDK. I have a Toshiba notebook and complained months ago that it doesn't run as cool as it should... (centrino intel etc)

I wonder if when I finally get to the repair place if the guys will look at me like Lady, it ain't a Dell what cha worryin about??? grrrr
