Hi ~ I agree with bb2023 -- tell him you'd like to take it slowly due to the past -- but sometimes we just can't help but fall.  He sounds like a really nice guy, so hopefully he's going to understand your need to slow things down. If you find that you can trust him, and he IS what he seems to be, then go ahead!!
