It sure sounds hormonal to me -- if you have a sex drive during your period when your hormones are raging, and you don't when you're off your period, obviously it has to do with hormones.
Perhaps you could use some hormone cream -- ask the doctor about it. Ask him about anything to do with hormones. Tell him about your sex drive during your period. That should explain it to him. Best of luck and God bless ! Hugs, Lee
