I am in a similar boat: I get Disability, but make too much to get Medicaid/Care. Realllllly crappy. I've been fortunate enough to have enough money to pay for the necessities (quite a few as of late). I've tried finding a Rx program here and to no avail.

How long have you been on disability? To my understanding after 2 years everyone qualifys for medicare. This is just what I was told by my mother in law who makes a **** load of money on disability and also gets medicare. I hope this gives you some hope. Maybe you can check into it a bit more. Are you in the US because that could be the difference. I sure hope you can get your medicare after two years. I just got mine early for some reason. Certainly you should qualify for it at the two year mark if you are in the US.
