Yeah some things like that trigger me too. It's not a waste of a thread. It's good to know what triggers you and to talk about it.

I can't watch any movies about cancer or people dying of cancer or kids with cancer... no cancer! Like I love that show The Parenthood. It's one of my favorite shows. But this year I can't watch it. I can't. I can't even watch the commercials for it, because not only does that lady in it, her character is named Christina, get cancer. But she has 3 kids and I identify with her more than the other characters to begin with... So, I don't dare even turn it on.
