Okay this really has nothing to do with bipolar but I wanted to see what everyone thought.
So I guess there is a new vest out, and you wear it and program it to your computer or something. Anyway, any time someone "likes" your status on Facebook, the vest will tighten and warm up slightly to give you a "hug." And then, the vest also has a button on it that you press and if the person who "liked" your status is also wearing a vest, they will get a "hug" back....
It is predicted to be a "big item" for the holidays.
Anyway, I think it's not only ridiculous and rather hilarious... but also very troubling and sad. Because everyone needs hugs but I doubt a vest is going to do the trick. But I can also think there are people out there desperate enough for a hug that they will buy a vest and wear it all the time. And then what's worse, it's like a double positive or negative. Sure, the vest will hug you when you get the like. But what about people like me, where no one really pushes "like" on anything on Facebook except rarely for me...

I can see this thing depressing more people than it hugs...
