you are not alone (((((Rhapsody)))))) . . . there is a popular book/movie that emotionally triggers me every time i see/hear that story title . . . i can't understand how it receives support from people or even how a dear friend of mine (also an incest victim) says that movie is one of her favorites.

sometimes i cry at night when i remember what my abuser did to me as a child . . . i cry for people here at Psych Central who have been hurt by others . . . i cry for the many children being hurt now.

we can't understand it. but . . . we can help others. we can join others in the fight against these crimes.

one day when i'm stronger i will be involved in groups that protect women and children from predators.
