I've tried several rehabilitation centers and they are all at capacity. I've tried most of the vets in the area and they either don't work with birds, or won't deal with a wild bird. I've made the decision to take him to the shelter and have him euthanized. At this point, I think it is the kindest decision. He is in pain, and I have run out of resources to try and help him. I think having him put down is kinder than letting him back out into the wild to either become prey or starve to death. At least I know I tried.
