Hi, I understand exactly how you feel. I have struggled with anorexia on and off over the years with periods of very good recovery in between. I don't want to sound like a hypocrite for telling you this (because here I am stuck myself) but here are a few things I have learned along the way.....in the initial stages of recovery, you have to force yourself to eat. No one can do this for you. You will hate every minute of it and feel like you are losing your "identity" ....it feels like all that control you have "worked so hard" to achieve is slipping away....you simply have to accept that you are fighting against this mindset and begin to eat. Although it may not feel like it right away, the more you eat, the more you will begin to get your hunger and desire for food back. I guess what I am saying is that initially, you just have to plow through it. It does get easier but it really takes time to move away from that mindset.
I have heard (and from my own experiences I'd say it is spot on) that how long you have been sick, it will take twice that long to feel recovered. Hope that helps!
