This is so terribly tragic!! And the ones who suffer the most are the children that are left behind. They will live FEELING that she loved her drugs more than them. And it's not true of course, but that's how they'll feel. I hope if they're old enough that their father puts them in therapy. God bless the children.
I'm glad you're going to her funeral. She may not have alot of friends there paying respects, so it's nice that you're good enough to go. So many people abandon addicts, even when they die. For some reason, they don't even want to be seen paying respects to a deceased addict for fear they might be seen as a "fellow user." How cold. And how ridiculous an excuse. So thank you for going.
