So sorry to hear this. I just lost a good friend of mine a few weeks ago. She sounds a lot like your friend. It is never easy regardless addict or not, they were great people inside just had their demons like the rest of us. I am sure her family will appreciate your presence at the funeral you are a true friend. My prayers go out to you and her family.
