Sounds like such an intense week!
Good for you for posting that on facebook! Seriously, if she's an MFT intern, people should be warned about this other more real side of hers! I can only imagine how this would spill over into her therapy relationships, you know if she's one way in public but another with family!
I know what it's like to crush someone's facade. I was dealing with an abusive therapist once, who I was also an apprentice for, long story! Anyway, I wrote a letter to the current training group I was in, stating my reasons for leaving, and citing examples from the past training group of things that went on that were just unacceptable in my book and to others, including my new t. I thought that these people would have at least listened to what I had to say. Well almost all of them came back at me, deffending her and saying I was the one out of line!
But looking back I know I did the right thing. Maybe later they'd think about it, or start to see some of the red flags I mentioned, and it would point the way out for them. I hope this is true for people in your case.
And I'd look into a crisis house. Never heard of that, but it sounds a bit better than the hospital.
