i understand where you are coming from sammi, not having support does make our passions in life seem a hassle, but they shouldnt.

i have a passion for singing, but nobody around me supports me, and do you know what i do??? i sit in my room and sing to myself, and i dont care that no one hears me becuase whats important is the fact i have this gift, the same as you have the gift to dance. your so called "FRIENDS" shouldnt damage that passion you have. support is a good thing, but its not a life or death thing, as long as you really enjoy doing something (as you say you do) then whether your friends are there or not shouldnt matter to you, because you dance for yourself, not them.

i would go to the dance if i could sammi, i would like to witness the talent you have. unfortunately i cant though.

what about family? are they going?

good luck with your dance, i hope you do well, and let me know how it goes. im interested in how it goes.

maybe you should consider stopping going to their football games for a little while, im sure they would realise whne your not there, then they might notice the errors of their ways by not attending your dance shows. its worth a try yes?

there will always be people in life who are jealous of your talents, and therefore they will try to ruin your hopes and aspirations by being so negative and un-supporting. but dont let it affect you.

you say 3 out of 4 of your friends play soccer, what about the other one?

let me know if you fancy a chat, im here for you ok.

take care, and good luck for your show tonight (or whenever it is, according to when you read this...)
