I'm so sorry about your poor hip. You know, it might be that the bursa, which is the area that surrounds the hip, may be inflamed. If that's the case, the Dr might give you a shot of cortizone which will reduce the inflammation. I don't know that's it, but if it is, the shot will help. I have to have them at times for my spondylitis.
