This morning she didn't wake up. It wasn't anything intentional. She took too much or the wrong combination. I'm not surprised that this happened but I didn't see it coming. I will miss her so much. And I feel so sorry for the husband and children she left behind.
I'm flying to her funeral on Sunday. I wish I had a good way to pay my respects. There just isn't much to celebrate about the last years of her life. There was a time when her future was bright and she was happy. She was a good, caring person. I will try to remember her that way.

Oh, gosh, I am so sorry! I know that's gotta be very painful. You sound like you were a good friend to her. There's no real easy way to say good-bye in a situation like this.  Thank you for sharing with us.
