hi ... checking with your general doctor to rule out any medical basis for the hair pulling and twisting might be useful as well as discussing this with a therapist to work out what is going on and the best way to help you. Often CBT does seem to be the recommendation for trichotillomania as miswimmy mentioned; there's also a separate forum on PC
